How to get paid in Colombia at a wellness studio: PSE, Nequi, cards and cash with PaymentsWay and Wompi

Updated on October 7, 20266 min read

Getting paid in Colombia isn't just about accepting cards. A large share of a studio's clients pay with PSE from their bank, with Nequi or in cash at an Efecty or Baloto point, and a studio that doesn't offer those methods loses the sale right when the client has decided to buy. Ollynk natively integrates the two most used Colombian gateways, PaymentsWay and Wompi, plus Stripe and PayPal, on every plan and with no extra commission from Ollynk. This is the short guide to choosing and setting up.

Which payment methods your clients expect in Colombia

PSE (Pagos Seguros en Línea) is direct debit from any bank in the country and the preferred method for medium and high amounts, such as a 10-class package. Nequi and Daviplata are the most used wallets for quick single-class payments. Credit cards remain relevant, especially for monthly memberships with automatic billing. And cash with a payment code at Efecty, Baloto or Su Red covers clients without a bank account or who prefer not to pay online.

  • PSE: packages and memberships, medium and high amounts
  • Nequi and Daviplata: single classes and quick payments
  • Credit or debit card: memberships with recurring billing
  • Cash at Efecty, Baloto and Su Red: clients without online banking

What each gateway integrated in Ollynk covers

PaymentsWay (Bogotá, PCI-DSS) covers cards, PSE, cash at Efecty, Baloto and Su Red, Bre-B QR and payment links, with tokenization for recurring charges. Its published card rate on the Aggregator model is 3.00% + COP 800 plus VAT on the fee. Wompi, Bancolombia's gateway, covers cards, PSE, Nequi, the Bancolombia button and cash at Bancolombia correspondents, with fast payouts if your account is with that bank. Stripe and PayPal serve international cards and clients abroad.

You don't have to pick just one. In Ollynk you enable whichever you want per location and the client sees every option at checkout.

Rates verified on October 8, 2026 on each provider's site. PSE, wallet and cash rates are quoted directly with the gateway. Ollynk charges no commission on your sales.

How to set them up in Ollynk

Open an account with the gateway (PaymentsWay or Wompi), complete its validation and copy the integration credentials. In Ollynk go to Integrations → Payment providers, paste the credentials and enable the provider at each location where you want to charge. From then on, the app, the website, the booking widget and payment links sent over WhatsApp show the active methods.

For memberships with automatic monthly billing, the client registers their card once; the gateway tokenizes it and Ollynk schedules the charge each period. If a charge fails, Ollynk retries and keeps the pending item visible on your board.

Reconciliation and reports

Every payment is tied to the client, the package or membership and the payment method. The sales report filters by method and exports to Excel, so you reconcile against the gateway's payout in minutes. With Ollynk MCP you can ask ChatGPT or Claude how much came in via PSE this week and how much by card, without opening the report.
